Biography
Ranendra Hajong is a Professor of General Surgery at NEIGRIHMS, Shillong, with expertise in advanced laparoscopic, gastrointestinal, and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery. He has specialized training in liver transplantation and HPB surgery from Asan Medical Center, Seoul, and GI surgery from AIIMS, New Delhi. His areas of interest include minimally invasive surgery, HPB surgery, hepatectomy, and liver transplantation. He has undertaken numerous research projects, published extensively, and received multiple awards for his academic and research contributions.
