Biography

He has been working as Consultant in Postgraduate department of Surgery, Government Medical College, Jammu, J&K, India since July 2013 with special interest in Colorectal & Laparoscopic surgery.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• MBBS from JNMC, Belgaum, Karnatka, India (1997)  
• MS General Surgery (SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar, J&K, India in 2005).
• MRCS Intercollegiate (United Kingdom) in March 2009 from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
• Awarded travelling fellowship in Colorectal Surgery by ACRSI in Heartland Hospital, Birmingham, United Kingdom in year 2015.
• FRCS (Glasgow) in 2021 by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
• MRCS Intercollegiate (United Kingdom) in 2023 from Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

Research interests:

 As a practicing General Surgeon my idea of research is patient care and follow evidence based practices to reduce the morbidity and mortality. I have special interest in Colorectal & Laparoscopic surgery.
