Biography

Dr. Sartaj Ahmad Guroo is a cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon associated with the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Vijaypur, Jammu, India. He have approximately five years of experience in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, with a professional focus on adult cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, and endovascular interventions. His clinical interests include the surgical management of congenital and acquired cardiac diseases, peripheral vascular disease, carotid artery disease, thoracic pathologies, and complex cardiovascular conditions. He have  contributed to the development of cardiothoracic and vascular surgical services at AIIMS Jammu. His professional interests include advancing surgical care, improving patient safety, developing specialized cardiovascular services, and promoting academic teaching and research in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. He particularly interested in further training and professional development in congenital cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, and endovascular techniques.
