RITA DE CÁSSIA VIANNA DE AZEVEDO BUENO DE PAIVA

Physician graduated from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), with a Medical residency in Internal Medicine at Hospital Federal de Ipanema and Board Certification in Intensive Care Medicine by the Brazilian Association of Intensive Care Medicine (AMIB).She holds a Master’s degree and a PhD from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), with an academic career focused on patient care, medical education, and scientific research.She practices in the fields of Intensive Care Medicine and Internal Medicine as an attending physician in private practice and is also an Assistant Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).She is the author of book chapters and scientific articles and regularly participates in medical congresses, scientific meetings, and academic events. Her professional career combines extensive clinical experience, academic engagement, and a strong commitment to medical education and scientific advancement.
