Biography

John Emmanuel R. Navarez, MD, is a resident graduate of the Department of Anesthesiology at Bicol Medical Center in the Philippines. He earned his medical degree from Bicol University College of Medicine in Albay, Philippines, and completed his residency training in anesthesiology at Bicol Medical Center. His research focuses on neuromuscular blockade monitoring, perioperative patient safety, and postoperative respiratory outcomes. His current study examines the incidence of residual neuromuscular blockade in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. This work has not yet been presented at local or international conferences, nor published in any local journal, and represents his first formal research undertaking.
