Biography

Dr. Ainie P. Disomimba, MD, MPM, is a first-year resident in Anesthesiology at Amai Pakpak Medical Center (APMC) in Marawi City, Philippines. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Mindanao State University College of Medicine and her Master in Public Management (MPM) from Ateneo de Manila University. Her clinical work covers emergency and high-risk surgical patients, with a growing focus on ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and multimodal postoperative pain management. Her academic interests include opioid-sparing analgesia, perioperative patient safety, and individualized pain assessment for patients who cannot reliably report their pain. She is committed to advancing safe, practical, and evidence-based anesthetic care in resource-limited settings in Mindanao.
